1. Indirect Resource Structure (偏印格 Piān Yìn Gé)

Formation & Requirements

The Indirect Resource structure forms when 偏印 becomes the dominant Ten God, shaping the behavior and function of the Day Master. This usually occurs when the chart shows multiple instances of 偏印 or places it in critical positions such as Heavenly Stems or Earthly Branches near the DM. For this structure to be valid, the Day Master must be moderately weak or neutral—not too strong to reject further resource, and not too weak to be overwhelmed. Additionally, there must be minimal interference from wealth, output, or officer stars that can neutralize or clash with the Resource element.
